This past Friday I climbed a wobbly old ladder in Remedy Coffee Shop to hang up my art on the walls. I now have 12 different pieces known as Bringing Joy to the Old collection displayed in my favorite spot in Knoxville. What an honor to be able to share this new found joy of mine, painting, and see how two of the things the Lord's provided me during this process meet.
Throughout the past 10 months, I've spent many hours working in this wonderful place and getting to know people just by being in this unique community. The barista, Matt and I have actually become pretty good friends. I love how relational and intentional this coffee shop is with everyperson that walks through the door. They were just given the award of being on the 100 Best Places to Drink in the South by Imbibe, which is really exciting! Check it out at remedycoffee.com
