One Thing Remains...

Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the grave
Constant through the trial and change
One Thing Remains
One Thing Remains...
Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me....

Rings out in my soul.  Wraps its arms around me.  The truth in this song is my anchor.  Throughout all the ups and downs this year's brought One Thing Remains... Christ's love.  Life brings joys and trials. Often times God plucks away, or shatters a dream that was good to produce the best crop later and for us to find our deepest dream in His love and joy.

Pitter Patter... bounce bounce bounce...
Macki's tail bobbing up and down running towards me through the tall grass.
Brings joy to us

God's shown me how He's constantly present and loving us through this sweet soul.
She follows me whenever I leave the house, escaping out of the fence.
Pursues us

She sleeps right at my door throughout the night to protect me.
Protects us

She waits patiently at my gate for me to come to her.
Waits for us

 She rests beside me.
Rests with us

Looks up at me smiling.
Rejoices in us
Adores us

"Many are the woes of the wicked,
    but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts in him."  Psalm 32:10

I pray that you would know this truth deep down in your soul that whatever life is handing you cannot touch the LOVE of God.  Please pray that international students would come to know this love and that doors would open to show them this love this school year through Young Life.

"Though the mountains be shaken
  and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you." Isaiah 54:10

  1. Great blog and cute dog!! Praying for your ministry at YL. I just heard this song on Pandora this morning and my heart was filled with joy of great memories of singing this at ILE chapel.
